Reports said that 43 militants had been killed and 101 detained during special operations carried out by the Chechen Interior Ministry.
The roundtable participants came to the conclusion that today terrorism in Chechnya was rather criminal that political, ethnic or religious.
"This is not ideological but planned and organized terrorism financed by international criminal organizations interested in seizing power," the participants said.
Among them were representatives of the interim operative group of bodies and departments of the Russian Interior Ministry, the anti-organized crime and counter-terrorism department, the Interior Ministry's All-Russia Research Institute and the Grozny branch of the ministry's Krasnodar Academy.
