Mrs. Putin saw the results of children's creative projects which they were working on since May 22 when the forum started.
Children presented Russian crafts, network, clay toy-making, miniature paintings, lace-making, patchwork, weaving, woodcutting, pottery, smith-craft, etc. they handed Lyudmila Putin an iron rose.
The Russian first lady also met with children from Beslan (North Ossetia) which had suffered from a major terrorist attack killing 186 children on September 1-3. They gave Mrs. Putin a doll dressed in the North Ossetian national costume.
The Moscow stage of the Orlyonok meeting closed with a concert. Young artists performed Russian folk dances and Russian and Italian songs.
All children received memory diplomas and were photographed with organizers. Fireworks followed the concert.
The second stage of the forum will start in Milan tomorrow.
