"We approve the latest proposals of the European trio (Great Britain, France and Germany) which aim at removing contradictions between the sides on Iranian nuclear programs," Rowhani told journalists.
Till recently, Tehran asked Europeans to clarify their proposals, however, they delayed practical decision-making, Rowhani said. Today we finally achieved progress as the European Union turned attention to its commitments.
However, the proposals of the European trio should be confirmed by Iran's supreme bodies, Rowhani added.
Yesterday Iran and the EU decided to continue talks on the Iranian nuclear dossier. The European side promised to submit new proposals and a cooperation program to Tehran in 2-2.5 months. Their contents are not disclosed but local experts said that the EU might start fulfilling its obligations on promoting Iran's accession to the World Trade Organization, WTO officials said on Thursday.
Tehran promised not to resume uranium-enrichment works at the Isfahan nuclear center and reaffirmed peaceful nature of its nuclear programs.
