The signing of this agreement resumed the work of the Russian-Czech intergovernmental commission, Fradkov told journalists. According to him, this document gives additional possibilities of promoting bilateral cooperation.
The Russian premier pointed out a high level of the political and economic dialogue and economic potential with the Czech Republic.
"Our trade turnover grew by 20% as compared to 2004 and this is a positive move. But we can increase it even more," Fradkov said. The Czech Republic's membership in the European Union will help it, he added.
Licensing issues in the military-industrial sphere were discussed today and will be the focus of Russian-Czech serious talks in the future, Fradkov said.
Paroubek said, in turn, that military-technical cooperation would be discussed tonight. According to him, "the agreement which was signed today will promote the solution of this problem."
