MOSCOW, May 27 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Railways is planning to deliver 690,000 tons of oil to China in June, 430,000 tons of which belongs to state-run oil company Rosneft, Russian Railways said in a press release Friday.
Yukos applied to transport 230,000 tons of oil in June.
Sibneft, owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, plans to transport 30,000 tons of oil.
Russian Railways is to have transported up to 680,000 tons of oil to China by the end of May.
From January to April 2005, the supply of oil to China by rail exceeded 2.8 million tons.
About 10 million tons of oil are planned to be transferredx to China this year. About 15 million tons of oil can be transported from Russia to Japan and China by rail annually.
