The program appears on the medium wave of the British-based Spectrum radio, 558 kHz, the RGRK press service told RIA Novosti.
The Russian Hour can be received in London and its environs, and on the world web on the Spectrum site, www.spectrumradio.net, and the Voice of Russia site, www.vor.ru, in the real radio regimen, specified our informants.
The program appears on the air, 2 to 3 p.m., Greenwich mean time, or 5 to 6 p.m., Moscow time.
The Voice of Russia has joined efforts for the Russian Hour project with the World Radio Network, its partner of long standing, who maintains the Voice of Russia's Internet broadcasts and transmits its signal to North America. The Russian Hour in London is broadcasted on its original pattern, with the Voice of Russia's sound logotype.
The program comprises information blocks-news and comments, coverage of the day's cultural landmarks, interviews with prominent political and cultural activists, talk shows, and a choice of music-classics, jazz and Russian folk tunes, said press service spokesmen.
