BAIKONUR, June 2 (RIA Novosti) - Students from Kazakhstan will study military space subjects at Russian higher educational establishments. Such an agreement has been reached with Vladimir Putin, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said. On Thursday they visited the Baikonur space center and took part in the celebrations on its 50th anniversary.
"Kazakhstan is only to become a space power. We are moving towards it, jointly building the Baiterek facility, planning to launch the KAZSAT satellite, having two cosmonauts trained in Russia. Today we have agreed that our students will study military space subjects at Russian higher educational establishments," Nazarbayev said.
