BRUSSELS, June 9 (RIA Novosti) - "Light bases" should be set up worldwide to combat terrorism, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov said.
"In view of the scales of terrorism, it is necessary to establish 'light bases,' transit points for prompt transfer of forces to this or that region," Ivanov said at a press conference after the session of the Russia-NATO Council in Brussels.
