MOSCOW, June 12 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Federal Security Service says the Grozny-Moscow train was bombed earlier this morning with around 3kg of TNT blocks. The Grozny-Moscow passenger train was derailed 153km from Moscow at 7.10 a.m., admittedly by a bomb planted under the rails, the FSB said. Security officers found a four-by-two-foot crater, electric wires leading to the forest, and a hide in the forest where the assailant must have waited for the train. "The explosion occurred under the locomotive, and a self-made remote control was found 50m from the railway," an official said.
Of 36 passengers who asked for medical aid, four were hospitalized - one with a broken leg and three with brain concussions, - others were treated at the scene and arrived in Moscow at 11.30 a.m. by a commuter train. At the railway station, 70 people applied for psychological help, the FSB said.
The incident is being investigated as a terrorist attack.
