MOSCOW, June 16 (RIA Novosti) - Rosneftegaz approved the purchase of the Gazprom stock for 203.5 billion rubles ($7 billion), the Russian federal property department said.
On June 16, the Gazprom board of directors decided to coordinate the sale of the 10.74% stock owned by Gazprom subsidiaries to the Rosneftegaz open joint stock company for 203,501,700,000 rubles, the department said.
A meeting of Gazprom stockholders took place on June 16, 2005. It made a decision to approve the big deal of the Rosnegtegaz purchase of the 10.74% Gazprom stock from its subsidiaries at the above-mentioned prize, the department said.
