MOSCOW, June 22 (RIA Novosti) -The Defense Ministry has prevented two attempted terrorist break-ins into military nuclear facilities, Igor Valynkin, chief of the Defense Ministry's 12th department, said Wednesday.
"These were not terrorist attacks. Two attempts were made by individual terrorists to infiltrate the facilities, but they were prevented by security guards and mobile units," Valynkin said.
Valynkin said this proved Russia's nuclear facilities were well guarded.
