MOSCOW, June 22 (RIA Novosti) - The fight against international terrorism and WMD proliferation will be high on the agenda at the G8 Summit in Gleneagles, Scotland, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.

"Special attention will be paid to issues that the British government selected as the summit agenda's priorities, particularly, global climate changes and aid to Africa's development," ministry's spokesman Alexander Yakovenko said.

According to Yakovenko, resolving the sharp regional conflicts in the Middle East, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan (Darfur) and the Balkans (Kosovo) and the UN reform will also be prioritized at the summit.

A session for G8 foreign ministers will be held in London June 28. The Gleneagles summit is scheduled for July 6-8.
