MOSCOW, June 24 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprom did not negotiate the acquisition of a stake in Novatech, Russia's largest independent gas producer, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said.
Miller said Gazprom was not interested in acquiring Novatech's IPO shares.
It was reported that France's Total intended to purchase a blocking share of Novatech, but the Russian Federal Anti-Trust Service had yet to approve the deal.
Novatech announced its intention this week to put its shares on the London Stock Exchange.
The Federal Service for Financial Markets has already authorized Novatech to float 29.9% of its stock outside Russia.
