URGENT: International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor to be built in France

MOSCOW, June 28 (RIA Novosti) - The International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) will be built in France, according to a joint declaration issued at a meeting of project participants here Tuesday. Washington, Seoul and Tokyo voted for the ITER to be based in Japan. Moscow, Brussels and Beijing were in favor of constructing it in France. The project is worth 10� million or about $12.1 million.
