NOVO-OGARYOVO, June 28 (RIA Novosti) - The unrest in the city of Andijan last month was planned against Uzbekistan a few months or even a few years in advance, and was caused by Uzbekistan's independent policy, Uzbek leader Islam Karimov said at a meeting with President Putin.
"We have sufficient evidence that proves that the operation was prepared a few months, or even years in advance," said Karimov.
