This was said at the meeting between Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov and Chinese leader Hu Jintao, the Russian government press service reported after the meeting.
The decisions and agreements of the summit will also determine the work of all commissions and subcommissions as part of regular meetings between the Russian and Chinese premiers.
Fradkov and Jintao said the Moscow summit was a serious step forward to partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China, set specific goals for further multi-faceted cooperation, and identified ways of their achievement.
The sides said the summit was central to Russia-China relations this year and exchanged opinions on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, and humanitarian areas, the press service reports.
The meeting proceeded in an atmosphere of trust and productivity typical of the Russia-China top-level contacts.
