GLENEAGLES (Scotland), July 8 (RIA Novosti) - President Vladimir Putin warned against crackdowns in efforts to combat terrorism.
"Tougher measures in the fight against the crime and terrorism can lead to crackdowns. If we do this we will offer terrorists a gift; they use the openness of democratic society to fight democracy," President Putin said.
