MOSCOW, July 9 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin intends to spend his vacation in Russia. "I will stay in Russia," President Putin said.
Earlier, at a news conference following the end of the Group Of Eight summit in Gleneagles, Scotland, Putin was asked whether he was going to spend his vacation in Sardinia (Italy). "Sardinia is a wonderful place, of course. But there is a possibility that some of the residents of Sardinia will visit us," Putin said meaning Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
When asked whether he would fix on his residence in Sochi (a Russian resort on the Black Sea), Putin said, "It is quite possible."
