ANDIJAN, July 11 (RIA Novosti) - Terrorists videotaped the seizure of the administration building and hostage taking in Andijan, Uzbekistan, Andijan Regional Prosecutor Bakhadyr Dekhkanov told journalists Monday.
Dekhkanov showed the video cassette confiscated from the terrorists. The faces of those who seized the building and some hostages, including law enforcers, some of whom were later killed, are visible on the tape.
The videotape shows firefighters, some of whom were also killed later, being taken hostage by the terrorists. Throughout the night of May 13 and into the day, a number of terrorist attacks and bandit assaults left dozens dead or injured.
The prosecutor's office said 187 people died during the Andijan events.
