MOSCOW, July 12 (RIA Novosti) - Russia is set to promote economic relations with South Africa, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said opening talks with his South African counterpart, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
Lavrov pointed to the "important economic aspects of the South African foreign minister's visit to Russia" and said the talks would focus on conflicts in Africa and UN activities.
Dlamini-Zuma said there were no political problems in the two countries' bilateral relations and agreed that aiding bilateral economic relations is a necessity.
