TEHRAN, July 13 (RIA Novosti, Nikolai Terekhov) - A senior Iranian Foreign Ministry official has denied Pentagon accusations that Iran took part in a recent series of blasts in Israel.
Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi said Pentagon chief Donald Rumsfeld's statement deserved to be refuted and showed that the United States' massive antiterrorist efforts had failed.
Asefi said the U.S. saw the world through Israeli glasses and that the Americans were unable to analyze changes in the world without bias.
Rumsfeld had accused Iran of helping stage explosions in the occupied territories Tuesday, Iranian newspapers reported.
