Moscow, July 15 (RIA Novosti) - Collectible daggers from the Russian town of Zlatoust, renowned for its decorative armory, have been brought to Moscow for an exhibition dedicated to the world-famous rifle designer Mikhail Kalashnikov.

Zlatoust's armory business, set up in the 19th century, has won international acclaim for its original style of engraving. The dagger collection currently on display in Moscow consists of five series, each inspired by one of Kalashnikov's best-known designs. Each series contains five daggers: bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and diamond.

All of the daggers have exquisitely shaped hilts, and bear Kalashnikov's autograph on the blade and a portrait of the legendary designer on the sheath. Each series boasts its own distinctive ornamentation.

The price of these one-off daggers ranges from $1,700 to $12,000.
