MOSCOW, July 16 (RIA Novosti) - Eight people were killed and one severely wounded as a result of the Russian Defense Ministry Mi-8 helicopter crash in Chechnya, a source in the Russian Air Forces said Saturday. In all, nine people were on board the helicopter. Those killed in the crash were three crewmembers and five frontier guards from the Tukharoi frontier guard detachment.
The wounded was delivered to a hospital in Khankala.
