MOSCOW

* RIA Novosti will hold the following news conferences:

- with First Deputy Speaker of the Russian State Duma (the lower chamber of the Russian parliament) Lyubov Sliska on the outcomes of the State Duma spring session (12.00 a.m.).

- on the wins of the Russian men's and women's tennis teams in the Federation and Davis Cups and the preparations for upcoming matches. Journalists will also be given information about the vote at the 117th session of the International Olympic Committee in Singapore to decide who would host the 2012 Olympics (1.30 p.m.).

* President of the Indem Fund Georgy Satarov will give a news conference on the subject, "The Increase in Corruption in the Last Four Years: Results of a New Study by Indem Fund (1.00 p.m.).

* Head of the Moscow Main Interior Department Vladimir Pronin will give a news conference on the department's work in the first half of 2005 (3.00 p.m.).

KAZAN

* Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia will arrive in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, to mark the 450th anniversary of the Kazan eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church. He will meet with President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiyev.

TBILISI

* The fourth Georgian-Abkhaz meeting will start in the office of the UN Secretary General's special envoy to Georgia. This will be a two-day meeting. The Georgian and Abkhaz delegations will be headed by State Minister for Conflict Resolution Georgy Khaindrava and Foreign Minister Sergei Shamba respectively. The parties will discuss security guarantees.

VIENNA

* An international conference on the 30th anniversary of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) will open.
