MOSCOW, July 23 (RIA Novosti) - Moscow will host the 6th Wings (Krylya) open-air rock festival on July 23-24. The festival will be held at its traditional venue, the Tushino airfield, for the first time after the 2003 terrorist act.
Two kamikaze terrorists blew up bombs near the airfield on July 5, 2003 killing 17 people and wounding 59.
The festival gathers over 50 representatives of various music styles, including rock, alternative music, raggy, glam rock, heavy metal, folklore and electronic music, rap, etc.
The audience will not be allowed to stay at the airfield on Saturday night not to disturb local residents.
After the 2003 tragic events, the 2004 festival was held at the Luzhniki sports center.
