MOSCOW, July 23 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a telegram of condolences to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in connection with the Saturday terrorist attacks on the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, the Kremlin press service said. "International terrorists committing grave crimes in Russia, Great Britain, Egypt and other countries want to make the civilized world live in an atmosphere of global fear and violence," Putin said. "Unity and joint actions to rebuff the barbarian threat can be a response to these challenges to the humanity. I am convinced that Egyptian people can display their best qualities, courage, firmness and strength of mind in this hard period."
According to official data, 62 people were killed and 200 wounded in the terrorist attack on Sharm el-Sheikh.
