MOSCOW, July 23 (RIA Novosti) - The interest of Russian tourists in trips to Egypt is not declining, the Russian Union of Tourist Industry said Saturday. "Some 18 flights to Sharm el-Sheikh depart from Moscow every week," union's spokeswoman Irina Tyrina said before adding that 3,500-4,000 Russian tourists were currently staying at Egyptian resorts.
"Despite the today's terrorist attacks, Russians do not tend to give up trips to Egyptian resorts," she added.
She also said that many people asked about the possible reduction of prices of Egyptian tours. "Prices will be undoubtedly reduced if many people give up their trips but this is not happening so far."
Tyurina said that some people asked to send them to Turkey instead of Egypt.
Four flights will depart to Egypt from Domodedovo tonight, she added.
