MOSCOW, August 6 (RIA Novosti) - We have 24 hours more to conduct the rescue operation of the AS-28 submersible near the Kamchatka peninsula, Deputy Chief of the Russian Navy General Staff Vladimir Pepelyayev said.
"The last contact with the crew proved that it has enough air. I think the supply will not run out by the end of the operation," he said. "Sailors can stay underwater for another 24 hours. We shall complete rescue works within this time."
