MOSCOW, August 9 (RIA Novosti) - NASA will make a final attempt to land the space shuttle Discovery Tuesday, a spokesman for the U.S. space agency said. NASA is currently considering four windows of time for the landing: 9:08 a.m. GMT, 10:43 a.m., 12:13 p.m. and at 12:48 p.m., the spokesman said. Alexei Krasnov, head of the manned space programs at the Russian Space Agency Roscosmos, said Tuesday was being considered as the last day for the landing because the shuttle's capabilities of remaining in orbit are limited.

NASA has prepared two landing sites: the Kennedy Space Center in Florida for the first two attempts and an air base in California for the remaining two, Krasnov said, adding that the weather in Florida was not stable and the decision to suspend the landing until Tuesday was reasonable.
