MOSCOW, August 10 (RIA Novosti) - President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday that he was against a monopoly on Russia's oil and gas market.
At a meeting with Sergei Bogdanchikov, the head of state-run oil major Rosneft, the president said the company was developing dynamically. "But we are not going to create any monopolies here," he said. "I expect other companies to develop vibrantly too."
Bogdanchikov said the company produced 15% of Russia's oil, and planned to hit 25-27% in the next 10 years.
