Alkhanov said that he had "commissioned the leaders of the republic's security force departments to carry out investigations before the end of the month into the incident in Dyshne-Vedeno, and report on what omissions were made by officers, how the attack was allowed to happen, and how the security forces dealt with the situation."
The situation in Chechnya is being closely monitored, and "there are sufficient forces and funds for this," Alkhanov said.

After returning from holiday, the president held a meeting with the leaders of the republic's security and police forces.
