CHERKESSK, August 14 (RIA Novosti) - Four climbers who tumbled down a glacier in the mountains of Dombai (Russia's North Caucasian Republic of Karachayevo-Cherkessia) on August 13 were taken to hospital, deputy head of the rescue expedition Alexander Laipanov said Sunday.
The rescuers found the mountaineers in the early hours of Sunday. The climbers received first aid and were later taken to hospital.
According to Laipanov, three mountaineers are in a grave condition and will most likely undergo surgery.
The rescuers do not know yet which countries the climbers came from.
