ZHUKOVSKY (Moscow region), August 18 (RIA Novosti) - The volume of Russian military export supplies will be no less than last year, the head of Rosoboronexport, Russia's only state middleman in the sector, told a news conference at the Max-2005 air show Thursday.
Sergei Chemezzov said navy supplies would account for the bulk of exports, with Russian producers handing several ships and submarines over to clients this year.
The official added that Russia was negotiating on exporting military produce to Thailand and Indonesia. He did not specify the timeframe or the kind of supplies, only saying the volumes would remain the same.
