MOSCOW, August 19 (RIA Novosti) - The Foreign Ministry received newly appointed U.S. ambassador William Burns Friday.
The Foreign Ministry said Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin met with Burns in the capital.
Karasin wished the American ambassador well and expressed hope for further productive relations between Russia and the United States. The two of them also discussed bilateral issues.
