TEHRAN, August 23 (RIA Novosti, Stanislav Khamdokhov) - More than 500 students gathered near the French, German, and British embassies Tuesday to protest against what Tehran called an anti-Iranian resolution by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The IAEA Board of Governors held an emergency session on August 10, demanding that Iran should end nuclear research, including work at the Isfahan center that resumed operations last week.
Protesters condemned the double standard France, Germany, and Britain were pursuing with respect to Iran. They held signs with slogans reading, "Death to the U.S.!" and "Nuclear Power Is Our Indisputable Right."
The students burned a British flag near the British embassy.
Students have held protests almost every day recently to support the Iranian government and the country's right to peaceful nuclear energy research.
