MOSCOW, August 25 (RIA Novosti) - Head of the Menatep financial group, Platon Lebedev, has been released from solitary confinement and returned to a regular cell.
On August 19, Lebedev was put in solitary confinement for misbehavior, Yury Kalinin, Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service, said Thursday.
Moscow's Meshchansky Court sentenced Lebedev and former Yukos CEO Mikhail Khodorkovsky to nine years in jail in May. Their cases are being reviewed.
