KAZAN, August 26 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed at the summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to set up a high-level CIS group similar to the UN "wise men group."
"This group will include our countries' reputable men, who are well aware of the known problems," the president said.
He added that not only government officials, but also cultural activists, public figures, and experts in law and economics would be included in the group.
