KAZAN, August 26 (RIA Novosti) - The leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) endorsed the concept of a joint border policy at the summit in Kazan Friday.
They also approved a protocol on cooperation between border and other departments of the CIS member states to resolve external border disputes, programs of cooperation against illegal migration for 2006-2008 and against terrorism and extremism for 2005-2007, and documents on the interstate council and the head of the CIS supreme auditing agencies.
