MOSCOW, September 1 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Space Agency Roscosmos and leading private and state-owned aerospace companies intend to merge into an association, a Roscosmos spokesman said Thursday.
"An agreement and articles on establishing a new body are scheduled to be presented for approval by the heads of companies at a general meeting hosted by Roscosmos on September 9, " the spokesman said.
"RSC Energia, NPO Energomash, OAO Kvant, KB Khimavtomatika, NPO Lavochkin, the Teplotekhnika Research Institute, and several other companies are planning to join the association," the spokesman said.
