George Bush, Vladimir Putin to meet in Washington September 16

WASHINGTON, September 2 (RIA Novosti, Arkady Orlov) - President George W. Bush will receive his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in Washington on September 16, the White House said in a press release. The White House said the presidents would discuss a series of bilateral and international issues, and ways to intensify bilateral cooperation to address new challenges and opportunities in the 21st century. The Kremlin press office said earlier Putin would visit Washington at Bush's invitation "to discuss a wide range of acute international problems and issues related to bilateral relations."
