MOSCOW, August 3 (RIA Novosti) - President Vladimir Putin and Russian Security Council members began their meeting with observing a minute of silence in memory of victims to terrorist acts. The minute of silence was observed throughout Russia at 13.05 Moscow time (9.05 GMT) on Saturday.
Terrorists seized a school in the Russian city of Beslan in North Ossetia in the North Caucasus a year ago. The terrorist attack claimed the lives of 331 people, including 186 children.
