MOSCOW, September 4 (RIA Novosti) - Russia has gained its first victory in the 2006 EuroTour hockey competition Saturday.In the second game of the Ceska Poistovna tournament (first stage of the EuroTour), Vladimir Krikunov's team defeated Finland 4:1 (0:0, 2:0, 2:1).
The first period of the game was scoreless. During the second period, the Team Russia scored twice (Vitaly Atyushov and Alexei Taratukhin).
In the third period Denis Gulyash and Alexei Taratukhin scored again before the Team Suomi answered with a goal by Mikko Lehtonen.
The Team Russia stated the tournament with a defeat in the game against Sweden (1:2).
