TUAPSE (Krasnodar territory), September 6 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin told journalists Tuesday that he would personally oversee the work of the council on priority national projects - a new body he proposed establishing at a meeting with top officials Monday. "Administrative and financial resources must be focused on these priorities. Otherwise, all will be lost," the head of state said from aboard the presidential yacht Kavkaz. "This will eliminate lobbying and the dispersion of state funds," Putin added.
The president said the council might include "representatives of all levels of authority, local self-government, and the main political forces." "Experts and businessmen should take part in the council's work," Putin said.
