VLADIKAVKAZ, September 7 (RIA Novosti) - An investigation group from the Russian Prosecutor General's Office has called in North Ossetian Presdient Taymuraz Mamsurov for questioning over the Beslan school siege, an official said.
Deputy General Prosecutor Vladimir Kolesnikov said at a press conference Wednesday that Taymuraz has still not been questioned on the issue.
Stanislav Kesayev, the head of the North Ossetia Parliamentary commission, has been asked to return for questioning, Kolesnikov said. He was first summoned on November 10, 2004.
On September 1, 2004, terrorists took teachers, parents and students hostage at school No.1 in the North Caucasus town of Beslan, killing 331 people, including 186 children, in a three-day siege.
