KIEV, September 7 (RIA Novosti) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko called on the government at a session with newly appointed State Secretary Oleh Rybachuk, Prime Minister Yuliya Tymoshenko and National Security and Defense Secretary Petro Poroshenko to stop arguing and work for the good of the state, the presidential press service said Wednesday.
Yushchenko noted the necessity of coordinated teamwork and arranging interaction between the institutions of power. He said the personal conflicts between certain team members had led to serious political consequences and "inflicted serious damage on the team's reputation and the state's image."
The president said he would soon make a number of important decisions to improve the work of his team, depending on the results of their work and their ability to work in a team environment.
