MOSCOW, September 8 (RIA Novosti) - Russian judo wrestler Alexander Mikhailin won his third World Champion title at the 2005-Judo World Championship in Cairo, Egypt Thursday.
The Russian defeated Yasuyuki Muneta in the 100kg-plus weight category bringing Russia the gold medal at the opening day of the championship.
Earlier in the day, Russia's Dmitry Kabanov won the bronze in the below 100kg weight category. The 2004-Athens Olympics silver medallist, Tea Donguzashvili, took fourth place in the 78kg-plus weight category.
