MOSCOW, September 19 (RIA Novosti) - Gazexport, a subsidiary of natural gas giant Gazprom, increased gas exports to 113.9 billion cu m from January to September 2005, which was 10.8% up on the same period in 2004, the company said in a press release.
Gazexport supplied 103.56 billion cu m of natural gas to western markets during the period, against 99.06 billion from January-August 2004.
The company delivered 74.31 billion cu m of gas to western Europe, up 4 billion cu m, and 29.25 billion cu m to eastern Europe, up 0.5 billion cu m on 2004.
The company's deliveries to former Soviet republics totaled 10.34 billion cu m of gas, compared to last year's 3.73 billion.
