MOSCOW, September 21 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller has discussed business relations with his Japanese counterpart from Itochu Corporation, Uichiro Niwa, Gazprom's press service said Wednesday.
The Russian natural gas monopoly said the two executives had discussed cooperation in establishing a unified system of natural gas production, transportation, and supply in Eastern Siberia and the Far East, including prospective exports to China and Asia-Pacific countries.
Special attention was paid to projects on the deep processing of raw hydrocarbons from Eastern Siberia in Russia.
The sides also discussed the production, transportation, and sale of liquefied natural gas.
