KIEV, September 22 (RIA Novosti) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko has nominated Yuriy Yekhanurov for prime minister for the second time, a spokesman for the Ukrainian presidential press-service said Thursday. The Ukrainian parliament, the Supreme Rada, is scheduled to vote again on the issue Thursday.
On September 20, parliament members rejected Yekhanurov with a three-vote margin. Yekhanurov needed 226 votes in the 450-member parliament, but received only 223.
