DALIANG (China) (September 24 - RIA Novosti) - The Russian-Chinese Business Council (RCBC) is considering more than 150 joint investment projects worth a total of more than $9.5 billion, said RCBC Russian Chairman Boris Titov, addressing the opening session of a Russian-Chinese interregional cooperation forum.
Our Council includes about 140 Russian business representatives, while first investment projects are under way," Boris Titov said, referring in particular to a joint metallurgical complex in the PRC with investment totaling more than $100 million.
The project is off to a good start," he said.
Titov said there are plans to set up a joint venture to assemble light airplanes in the PRC.
Russian enterprises were invited to participate in a comprehensive program to modernize and upgrade industrial facilities in northeast China, he said
